LEANN NGUYEN,DDS
The first and most important member of our team is Dr. Leann Nguyen. Dr Leann grew up in the Kansas City area. She was named Valedictorian of her class at North Kansas City High School. After attending Rockhurst University she received a degree in chemistry. Graduating with the distinction summa cum laude. As a chemist she worked on an anticancer drug project. This project funded by the National Cancer Institute.
Dr. Nguyen attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Dentistry. The UMKC professors selected her to participate in the Pediatric Honors Program. There she had the opportunity to work on the most advanced cases with young patients.
She began as a dentist at the prominent Cherry Hill Dental in Columbia, Missouri. While there she increased her professional skill and knowledge. She was part of their team for about two years.
In 2008, she started her own office. As well as Richmond Family Dentistry, LLC in 2015. Providing personalized and excellent dental care to Richmond, MO and the surrounding communities.
Dr. Nguyen is dedicated to improving her skills. It should be noted continuing education is a priority. She loves to travel keeping abreast of the latest techniques and technologies. Making the finest dental care available to each one of her patients.
Her personal dental experiences give her a unique perspective. From fillings to an implant. She understands what it’s like to be the patient. Dr. Leann loves to explain the many treatment options available to each one of her patients. Empowering them to make healthy smile choices.
Dr. Leann is married to Kyle. Together they have three children: Andrew, Alexander and Addison.
JENNIFER BOBBITT, CDA -PRACTICE MANAGER
Jennifer grew up in Warrensburg, Mo. As a child she loved to go to the dentist, only because they gave out prizes! Here at Richmond Family Dentistry She is the smiling face that greets you when you come in. If you have a scheduling or billing question she would be happy to answer it for you. She loves helping patients understand and afford quality, pain-free dentistry. In her free time she runs her photography business. She also loves camping, roller coasters, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
ALEX CHARLONS, RDH -HYGIENIST
Alex’s friendly smile and gentle methods will put even the most anxious patient at ease. From basic cleanings to advanced periodontal needs, Alex is your girl. She loves helping patients keep their teeth and gums healthy so they will last a lifetime. If you want whiter teeth, straighter teeth, or just want to keep your teeth healthy, Alex can help you choose the best options. Just let her know what your “smile goals” are and she will help you reach them. In her free time Alex loves to spend time with her family, Her husband, John, beautiful daughter, baby boy and adorable dog, Tripp. They love to take family trips. Skiing in Colorado is one of their favorite places to go.
